Summer Interval Sessions Starting in July!
Looking to improve your cycling speed, skills and efficiency? These structured interval workouts will be focused on improving overall power and speed as well as your hill climbing ability. Each week will have a different focus. Generally, the program structure will involve switching between power/threshold intervals one week and strength/hills the next week. Technical tips and guidance will will be given for each session and individual technical advice will be given on a case by case basis. If you follow the program you will get guaranteed results.
These sessions are for all levels of road cyclists and triathletes. If you can ride between 22-24kph on flat road then you will have no issues keeping up. The group will ride together during the warm-up at a moderate pace to get the muscles ready for the harder efforts. Once we reach the workout destination then each individual can do the workout at their own pace/ability. For example, if we do a set of hill repeats, stronger/experienced athletes might do 6 repeats whereas more moderately paced individuals might do 4 repeats.
The workouts are generally held in the Jericho/UBC area. Rides start downtown at the Bicycle Sports Pacific Studio with a pick-up spot in the Point Grey/Jericho area for greater convenience and accessibility for those who live closer to that area.
SPECIAL NOTE: From my experience over the last few years, I realize that many of you are away at certain times during the summer months enjoying holidays which can make it difficult to commit to each session every week. Please free to come twice a week before and/or after your trips to make up for any sessions that you will be missing, there's no need to contact me if you do this, simply drop-in when you have time.

Date: July 8th to Sept 3rd (9 Weeks)
Day: Wednesday and Thursday
Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Workout location: The workouts will generally be held in the UBC/Jericho area. There will be a pick up spot in the Point Grey area for those who live further West.
Start location: Departing from the Studio at Bicycle Sports Pacific at 6:30pm - 933 Pacific St. (corner Burrard), Vancouver (come early for espresso on the house!).

COST (tax included):
- $105 - 9 sessions total (once per week)
- $15 - Drop-in sessions
*If you plan to come once per week but will be away at any time then sessions can be doubled up on any of the weeks to make up for this.
